Over 100 years ago, a few citizens of Ralls County decided that they wanted better insurance, not only for themselves but their family and neighbors.  On May 5, 1890 Ralls County Mutual Insurance Company was formed to give that protection.  As the years rolled by, RCMIC has become stronger not only by adding policyholders but also expanding what we insure.

Our mission at our inception in 1890 was to provide insurance protection for farms, homes, and personal property of both owner and tenants in Ralls County and surrounding areas for a reasonable cost, with local control of policyholder funds being maintained.  We believe that this is still our mission today.

We are state regulated and fully reinsured.  We have no stockholders to pay dividends to.  Therefore we are able to keep our premiums low.  You are more than just another number at RCMIC, you are a policy holder, which means you are one of the owners of the company.  We work for our policyholders so we want you to feel comfortable talking to us.
